Bugs are a type of resource that can be acquired by catching them with a Iron Net.png Bug Net, or purchasing them from Fp wiki balor.png Balor's Wagon.

Uses

Some Bugs can be used for Crafting table.png Woodcrafting, or in other crafting recipes. While they are disliked as gifts by most villagers, there are a few exceptions. Many can be donated to The Insects Wing of The Museum.
Bugs can also be used in Terrarium.png Terrariums, or Apiary.png Apiaries (in the case of Bees), to produce Common bug pheromones.png Bug Pheromones, or Honey.png Different types of Honey respectively.

Mechanics

The game appears to randomly load several bugs per screen upon screen load. One good tip if you need a specific overworld bug (especially a hard-to-find Legendary) is to reload The Summit, which you can see all of in one screen, until the bug you are looking for is spawned. Access to The Summit is blocked until completion of the Quests story icon.png Story Quest "Beautification Project".

Catching Times

Within many bug's description, the time-frame that they can be caught is referenced as text. Below these are converted to the relevant hours.
