The Inventory or Bag, is where any item The Player is currently carrying (except for any equipped armor or Cosmetics) is stored.
At the beginning of Fields of Mistria, The Player has 10 slots in their Inventory, however this can be increased through the purchase of upgrades.
The Inventory can be opened with the Open Journal action (default is 
( escape key ) on PC), alternatively the "toolbar" at the base of the screen can be used to more quickly access items.
The Toolbar
Like the Inventory "The Toolbar" initially has 10 slots, however as the Inventory is expanded, "The Toolbar" expands too. The Toolbar can be navigated by default using the number keys at the top of the keyboard (

), when the Inventory is upgraded, The Toolbar gains an extra tab of 10 slots, Toolbar tabs can be switched between with the 
([ key) and 
(] key) by default on the keyboard. These inputs can be changed through the "
Controls" section of the settings menu.
The color of The Toolbar changes depending on the time of the day, from brown in the morning to purple at night.
