Blacksmithing is one of the many skills The Player can use to craft items in Fields of Mistria. Unlike 
Cooking and 
Woodcrafting, The Player does not need to obtain recipes to start Blacksmithing. The recipes are available to The Player at the very start of the game, it's just a matter of gathering the proper materials and meeting the skill level requirements to start crafting.
The Blacksmithing menu can be accessed at the anvil in front of the Blacksmith shop. By clicking on an item, the menu will display the crafting time, level requirement, and ingredients needed. Unless The Player has locked the chest, the necessary ingredients can be pulled from both The Player's current inventory and chest inventory.
To increase the Blacksmithing level, The Player needs to continue crafting items in the Blacksmithing menu. As the skill level goes up, The Player will gain access to various skill perks that can help reduce crafting time, reduce the amount of ingredients needed, or add an buff to the item.
Skill Perks
The Blacksmithing skill can be increased by crafting Ingots, Equipment, Tools, and Weapons, at The 
Blacksmith's Forge.

Tier 1 (Lvl 1)
 | Copper Expert | The amount of Copper Ore required to craft Copper Ingots will be reduced by 1. | 15
