Meet Every Breeding Requirement
Most failed attempts come from housing, heart level or timing rather than the color pair itself.
Use a mature same-species pair
The parents must be adults of the same species and opposite sexes. Both need at least 2 hearts and must live in the same Barn or Coop.
Leave space and feed both treats together
Keep one open slot in the building. Buy the species-specific Heart-Shaped Treats from Hayden, then feed one to each parent on the same day.
Track Birth and Maturity
Breeding uses a fixed waiting period, followed by a species-building maturity period.
Wait four days for the baby
All current animal types are born or hatched four days after the parents are successfully bred. Keep the housing slot available throughout that period.
Allow 3 or 5 more days to mature
Coop babies take 3 days to mature, while Barn babies take 5 days. A newborn cannot immediately become the next breeding parent.
Breed for Color Tiers, Not Production Stats
Animal colors are cosmetic. Higher tiers add rarer palettes but do not increase normal product output.
Pair colors from the same tier to progress
Breeding is the route to colors beyond the standard adoption set. Once a color has been born on your farm, Hayden's adoption menu unlocks that color for direct purchase.
Tier 6 contains seasonal colors
The final color tier contains Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter variants. Seasonal results are tied to the season in which the breeding cycle is started, so plan housing space before the calendar changes.

Tier 1–5 Horse colors
Tier 1: Champagne, Sandy Bay, Spotted. Tier 2: Black, White, Chestnut. Tier 3: Purple, Blue, Pink. Tier 4: Silver. Tier 5: Gold.
Tier 6 Horse colors
The seasonal Horse variants are Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. They are visual variants; Horse Hair production still depends on the normal animal-care systems, not coat color.
